Thanks to a generous donation from Easton Sports, Camp Currie will have archery equipment for groups to rent for use at our outdoor archery range. (US Archery Level 1 coach certification required).
Camp Currie will also have a US Archery Certified Coach that may be available for an additional hourly fee.

New Benches at Big Fir!
Sept 2025: Thanks to the amazing Girl Scout troop 10292, Big Fir's campfire ring now has 6 strong, sturdy, and pretty benches for folks to enjoy! Well done,!!
Our OPEN HOUSE was a big success!
Camp Currie held our first Open House on Sunday Sept 14, 2025 from 1-4pm.
We had many people stop by and check out our lovely little campground and we heard from most of the visitors that they hope this event would be an annual event. Stay tuned next year for that possibility!
Ladybug and Cougar Shelters are complete!
April 2025: We are excited to announce that our shelters Ladybug and Couger near the meadow have been fully remodeled and are ready for guests! Check them out when you're next at camp!
Our First Structural Repair
In the spring of 2024, we repaired the main outhouse at camp. We replaced the roof, added structural retrofits to make the building stronger, removed and replaced dry rot boards, replaced siding, and repainted the whole exterior!
JD Currie Youth Camp recently underwent an assessment of all structures. It was determined that several structures require additional structural support in order for the structure to be brought up to today's code requirements.
To that end, JD Currie Youth Camp will be working diligently in the upcoming year to retrofit and upgrade all existing structures to improve safety and long-term health.
